An Investigation of R-Chunk Detector Generation on Higher Alphabets
نویسندگان
چکیده
We propose an algorithm for generating all possible generatable r-chunk detectors, which do not cover any elements in self set S. In addition, the algorithm data structure is used to estimate the average number of generatable detectors, dependent on set size S, r-chunk length r and alphabet size Σ. We show that higher alphabets influence the number of generatable detectors in a negative manner.

AN INVESTIGATION ON THE EFFECT OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FORCE ON THE CHARACTERISTICS OF ELECTRODEPOSITED Ni/Al2O3 COMPOSITE COATINGS
Electrochemical coating processes are significantly affected by applied magnetic fields due to the generation of electromagnetic forces. The present research work has been undertaken to study the effect of coating parameters such as current density and alumina concentration on the characteristics of Ni-Al2O3 composite coating under static magnetic field. Ni-Al2O3 composite coating was applied o...
متن کاملAn Investigation on Performance of Shrouding a Small Wind Turbine with a Simple Ring in a Wind Tunnel
Ducted wind turbines are a kind of small wind turbine having a diffuser or any other shape around the rotor which increases the air flow through the blades and absorbs more power. In the present study, a small wind turbine was ducted with a relatively simple ring and its performance was investigated in a wind tunnel. The duct is shaped using rolling steel sheets on a sloping surface and finally...
متن کاملNegative selection algorithms on strings with efficient training and linear-time classification
A string-based negative selection algorithm is an immune-inspired classifier that infers a bipartitioning of a string space Σ from a training set S containing samples from only one of the partitions. The algorithm generates a set of patterns, called “detectors”, to cover regions of the string space containing none of the training samples. These patterns are then used for classification. A major...
متن کاملQuantitative Comparison of Analytical solution and Finite Element Method for investigation of Near-Infrared Light Propagation in Brain Tissue Model
Introduction: Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) is an imaging method in which light source and detector are installed on the head; consequently, re-emission of light from human skin contains information about cerebral hemodynamic alteration. The spatial probability distribution profile of photons penetrating tissue at a source spot, scattering into the tissue, and being released at ...
متن کاملDetermination of Isosorbide Dinitrate in Serum by Gas Chromatography with New Generation of Electron Capture Detector and its Application in Pharmacokinetic Study
Isosorbide dinitrate (ISDN) is an effective drug in treatment of angina pectoris. In this study a new generation of electron capture detector (non-radioactive) with a short, non-polar and wide-bore column was used for analysis of ISDN in human serum. ISDN was extracted from serum by a mixture of ether and ethyl acetate and concentrated at room temperature. The method was linear between 5-50...
